Several ways you may stay connected to campus as a volunteer include:
DART (Denison Alumni Recruitment Team)
Alumni are a vital part of the Admissions Office and often assist as an extension of the professional staff. DART members interview prospective students, represent Denison at regional college fairs and serve as resource for students and families prior to enrollment.
Staying connected with classmates is a hallmark of the Denison tradition. Reunion Committee members serve in a twofold position that strengthen ties back to Denison and to each other. Committee members both build attendance at Reunion weekend and fundraise for the class gift given in honor of your reunion.
Open to the twelve most recently graduated classes and post-20th reunion classes, Class Agents are the personal touch between your peers and Denison who are committed to promoting class pride through giving. Their fundraising efforts are significantly important to increasing support for the Annual Fund.
Denisonians live everywhere, and we like to get together. Club leaders coordinate social, educational or service events for alumni, parents and friends of Denison in a geographic region. The local leadership works in conjunction with the Alumni Relations team to generate event ideas, to recruit additional volunteers and to serve as the onsite host – often in lieu of a Denison staff member.
Career Exploration and Development
Your professional connections are quite helpful to current students and alumni. The College has tradition of Denisonians helping Denisonians. Offering an internship, hosting an extern, recruiting on campus, serving as a mock interviewer and promoting Denison to your human resources office are just a few of the ways you can give back to your alma mater.
Denison Students have many different options to volunteer and support Denison during their time on the Hill. They can help raise awareness and support for the Annual Fund, show other students what life post Denison is like, and work to have a wonderful senior year.
